My swan song

cwt232

I admit I am overly emotional when watching the Browns, Guardians, and Cavaliers. Truthfully, I should seek mental health advice from an expert to rid myself of the agony of constantly losing. However, being a fan of Cleveland sports teams is unique. Get ready to feel my pain once again.

During the offseason, fans usually rationalize why their favorite teams will win the following season. I am confident fans all around the country begrudgingly experience this same pattern of elated enthusiasm digressing to dissatisfied disappointment. Imagine being a delusional Browns fan, then multiply those same emotions by infinity. This means that the light at the end of the tunnel is a demoralizing freight train. Similar to Wile E. Coyote, yet again failing in his attempt to catch the elusive Roadrunner. Nonetheless, writing my blog has been a therapeutic awakening.

Writing the faux pas of the Browns, Cavs, and Guardians has, in a sense, been outstanding. Each week I got to share my gripes with my peers. And once I created my Facebook page, I was recognized as the rising creator of the week for consecutive weeks. Truthfully, I didn’t really learn anything I hadn’t already experienced. Losing in Cleveland is like Lamb Chops play along, ending the theme music. Meaning losing for “The Land” never ends.

I probably won’t blog as often for the foreseeable future, but it’ll be the best 3 minutes of your life when I do. In future posts, I want to incorporate interviews with Cleveland sports legends like Roberto Alomar, Mark Price, and Josh Cribbs. If I were to sum up my blogging experience in two words, tremendous suffering. But as the Dalai Lama once said, “do not let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace.” And with that, I’m outie 5000. Deuces!
